At Artyc, we’re heading into 2025 with momentum and focus. With support from Elemental Impact, a nonprofit that invests in climate technologies, we’re scaling our solutions to build a stronger, more resilient cold chain.
This funding helps us expand access to temperature-sensitive medical deliveries, making them more reliable and accessible, especially in rural areas where supply chains are stretched thin. It’s a major step toward bringing smarter, more sustainable options to the market.
As we grow, we’re also taking time to reflect. Our winter retreat brought the team together to focus on setting priorities, turning strategy into action, and making sure that we’re all working toward the same goal.
It was a chance to step back, align on what matters most, and gear up for the challenges and opportunities ahead. The conversations we had will shape the months to come, and deepen the culture of collaboration that drives everything we do.
We’ve got big plans for 2025—let’s dive in.

Artyc's newest series, Chilling with Artyc, recently launched. Our first interview was with Hany Salama, SVP at McKesson. Hany spoke to us about how the cold chain has evolved throughout his career and the way in which it has underscored modern biological distribution.
Our second interview featured Michael Cohen, Lead Senior Director of Environmental Sustainability at PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. Michael shared how sustainability is becoming a competitive advantage in healthcare logistics and highlighted the need for reusable solutions and data-driven decision-making.
We are pleased to partner with Elemental Impact to further expand our deployments and technology. Through this partnership, we'll be increasing vaccine access and sample collection across rural communities in 15 states.
Our whole team gathered in California to reflect on the year and set goals for 2025. One topic of interest: “What is the future of the cold chain?” Through workshops led by colleagues, we explored emerging trends in cooling technologies, supply chain logistics, and AI-driven software.
We love the end-of-year because we get to read all the round-ups. From a Maersk article about where the cold chain is headed in 2025, here are two predictions that caught our attention:

During our interview with Hany Salama, an expert in pharmaceutical supply chains and an Artyc advisor, he said: "The cold chain is no longer a niche aspect of pharmaceutical logistics; it’s the backbone of the industry."
As pharmaceutical supply chains get more complex, the cold chain needs to keep up. At Artyc, we’re focused on building solutions that make the cold chain stronger, more sustainable, and easier to manage.
